Typing at home is yet another scam that is targeted at people
who want to work at home, especially WAHMs. These companies claim they'll pay
you for typing ads. They fail to tell you that they just give you a list of
companies that "might" be looking for someone to fill the position and that you
are not paid for each ad you type, you get paid if some one responds, if they
even decide to pay you. These companies do not offer any tracking program so
that you can track your link stats.
They all require a "start-up" fee which range from $30.00-$120.00 or more which
is purportedly for your "training and resources".
We interviewed 24 moms that have paid the start-up fee and just got a list of
companies that might be looking for some one to type at home. Then those
companies require another "start up fee". Each mom stated they tried to contact
the companies and they were told, "no one must have responded to your ads."
There are so many of these companies out there, it would take 25 pages to add
them all here. But here are some to be on the look out for.

Remember - you will NEVER have to pay for a legitimate job. You may have to pay
for a start-up kit if you're involved in a sales or party program. You may also
need to pay for a job listing or notification service, but never the actual job
itself. Any potential job opportunity that requires you to lay out money to get
"more information" or a "special information packet" is a scam.
